In Sudan Chevron US oil company workers were kill by terrorist fighters so they withdraw from Sudan.

1993 China became an importer of oil and China oil company start to go abroad to look for oil.

Sudan then look towards China for help so that is how China’s oil company came to Africa. US did not think China had the skill.

China then discover a large oil field in Darfur similar to Bohai in China. Using the experience in Bohai China achieve great results. China then build many oil facilities all over Darfur.

At the same time Sudan ask China to help build a large refinery which China did. So Sudan can now make their own gasoline, diesel and other oil products saving them from having to import at high cost.

This was very important for Sudan as it led to even more factories using these by-products to manufacturing plastic goods in Sudan.

So this Chinese model of development was very good for Sudan.

US and Chevron was not happy and so started the trouble behind China’s back.

Then China also help Sudan to build a dam.

Then China build port for 100,000 ton oil ship.

The building of the Port left a deep impression on the Sudan people. China had to use TianJin Hao dredger as the seabed was very hard.

So a backward country now have the entire oil supply chain which is unimaginable then.

This attracted neighboring countries notice. Chad, Algeria saw Sudan refinery and wanted the same thing. And China also build for them.

Western model often are just photo-op like Princess Diana. Come take photo and then gone. Chinese model was a better model.

Soon happen the Darfur rebels war in 2003 armed and supported by Western countries and blaming China for contributing to the war.

2008 Beijing Olympic brought claims of genocide by Western countries to shame China.

But a UN investigation did not find any evidence of genocide. Only US and some NGOs were calling it genocide.

Then the Western countries started to split South Sudan away (Condi Rice Pet Project). As Darfur oil field spread over both Sudan and South Sudan this will disrupt China oil operation.

So South Sudan became an independent country in 2011. China immediately recognized South Sudan.

But then civil war happened almost immediately. China’s oil operation was affected. An explosion occurred and a large area of the oilfield caught fire and South Sudan ask China to shut it down.

However China convince South Sudan that the oil fire must be stopped and the oil cleaned up. If not it will have to be abandon and a new oil well will need to be dig so China send 30 men to clean up the mess.

This left a deep impression on South Sudan that the Chinese were very responsible. From then on South Sudan and China relationship turned 180 degree.

So now both Sudan and South Sudan have good relationship with China.

But Western countries still did not give up.

So Western countries started a color revolution to regime change Sudan. Sudan was going through bad economic as oil price drop and sanctions by Western countries.

Soon a military coup occurred, and Bashir was toppled. His crime was corruption taking money from Saudia Arabia meant for Sudan. Amount was not much. Even US take much more.

In the end Bashir was sentenced to 2 years in an old folk home.

As China do not interfere in other country internal affairs, to stabilized the country and prevent further problems in Sudan, China send 400 Peace Keepers under UN.
