On Human Rights

When we talk about human right, do we differentiate between individual and the collective rights. Which is more important – Individual human right or collective human right? Deng Xiao Ping’s Human Rights Theory

Judgements on human rights should not be tainted by ideological bias, as Zhang Weiwei defends China’s human rights records. We should listen to what the Chinese people have to say about human rights in China. A country that has committed serious human rights violation during the Iraq war has no ground to judge a country that has lifted 700 million people out of poverty.
Stop being Double Standard on the Human Rights

There following are the comments written by readers of the previous article:

  • Human rights per Western point of view is surreal. For example, the US regards itself and by its allies as a superpower in Human Rights promotion. Yet it “Has Killed More Than 20 Million People in 37 “Victim Nations” Since World War II” per Global Research report. The world certainly needs of a new model of human rights.
  • Human rights in Western std is viewed through Gunboat policy. When KSA is elected by West as chief of UN Humans Rights body, what’s more to say?Mao let Chinese standup from the 8 Alliance Opiumists pillaged. Deng let Chinese filled their stomach. Xi is now letting Chinese regaining their lost glory. That’s basic human rights for 1.4B people, without resort to violent colonialism that every West powers did.For the West or Jp to talk about others human rights, its like serial arsonist crying arson over others cooking fire.
  • An excellent, realistic & absolutely true representation of what is Human Rights versus using under cover of laws, Human Rights, freedom & democracy to committing the very basis of Human Rights, aka Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Yemen, etc. where is their Human Rights?! The USA & western allies terms of Human Rights is to regime change, sanctioning, suppressing others from developing and for controlling others; none whatsoever of Human Rights to date?! Thank you, China for the article in reminder and teaching, showing what exactly is Human Rights, i.e. –
to secure people’s fundamental rights to food, to shelter, to work, to
school and to hospital, and to ensure people’s happiness as the most
achievement of human rights. Very well said, indeed!

Seeking truth from facts and public opinion first! Zhang Wei discusses human rights issues in depth, deconstructs the Western human rights discourse system, and promotes the development of human rights in China according to local conditions. The discourse (shown below) is in Chinese only.

Salient points:
There  Chinese tourists visiting overseas increase  year by year. It is about 120 million last year and according to statistics 99.999% of them return to China. Would many of them return back to a country where human rights is bad and become increasingly worse? This can’t be happening unless  the actual human right situation is  improving over the years.

And to those from the West that like to question human rights, then they should acknowledge the greatest human rights infringement of 21st century is due the invasion of Iraq. By the most conservative estimate, hundred of thousands died.

When discussing human right condition, local people’s perspective and how they think about it and not what you believe it should be considered. One can conduct public opinion poll to know what the local feels about it and the support level and trust for the government.
