The Road to J-10 documentary

Following is the video of documentary called   猛龙冲天 歼十之路.

It is a documentary about the  development  of  China first 4th generation military aircraft, with emphasis on key persons involved in the design, building and test flights. This aircraft was under developement  for a number of years, and it was not revealed to the world  until 2006. The high point must have been the first flight of the aircraft back in 1998.  It was a long and arduous journey to develop the sophisticated modern fighter plane given that China lacked  cutting edge technologies in those days. Those tears were real, and reflect their reliefs and happiness upon realising  their dreams and aspirations.

Chief designer : Song Wencong (宋文骢 )
Chief engineer: Xue Chi Shou(薛炽寿)
Chief test pilot: Lei Qiang(雷强)

I always have an interest in military aviation, and the development of J10 provides a new milestone in the accomplishment  of science and technology in fast developing China.

Reading the subtitles does help to improve my Chinese vocabulary.
