宝贝对不起

Bao3 bei4 dui4 bu qi3 ( I am sorry Baby)

Singers: The Grasshoppers 草蜢 (cao3 meng3)

This refreshing song with catchy tunes, is from the group that called themselves The Grasshoppers. This is the first song featured here for this year. I must have  heard this songs many times over the years, but somehow failed to take real notice of it.

The Grasshoppers started out as the backup singers for the late Anita Mui. Last heard news while in Malaysia was that they will be performing there during Chinese New Year period.

But I really became aware of it during a recent trip. Incidently, bought a Karaoke DVD in Hainan Island, that features this song.

Worry that you are too emotional, worry you are too emotional and can’t take it

Non-stop rain, non-stop rain, my mood is unsettled

A thousand roses to you, want you to love yourself better

A million apologies, for leaving you in which there is no choice

I am sorry baby, it’s not that I’m not fond of you

It’s just I don’t want to make you cry

I am sorry baby, it’s not that I don’t love you

It’s just that I don’t want to hurt you

Let me believe, let me believe that you will be all right

No need to have any arrangement, you and I will never forget

A thousand true hearts give to you, don’t be silent and hush

A million I love you, I will surely comeback to see you
