Let the roots remain (bǎ gēn liú zhù)

Singer is  Angus Tung 格 (tóng ān gé).

 Title may seems strange. But then this song was written by Angus to remind the people of Taiwan that they are still Chinese, even though they are seperated politically from mainland Chinese.

茫然 随波逐流                        (mang ran = ignorant;  zhu = one by one )

为了 生活                                (sheng huo = life)

rénmen sì chù  bēnbō

人们 奔波                       (si chu = all direction ; benbo = rush about)

què zài mìngyùn zhōng jiāocuò

命运 交错                  (ming yun = fate ;  jiao cuo = interlock )

duōshǎo suì yuè

多少 岁月

níng jù chéng zhè yī kè

                     (ning ju = condense )

qīdài  zhe jiù mèng zhòng  yuán

期待                  (qi dai = look forward )

wàn juān chéng shuǐ

                               (juan = brook )

zhōngjiū huì liú chéng hé

终究                       (zhong jiu = eventually ; hui = converge )

xiàng yī shǒu péngpài  de gē

澎湃

yī nián guò le  yī nián

ài yīshēng zhī  wèi zhè yītiān

一生 一天            

ràng xuè mai zài xiānglián

相连                      (xue mai = blood vessels ; xiang lian = join )

cāgān xīnzhōng de xuè hé lèi hén

擦干 心中         (ca gan = wipe dry  ;  hen = traces)
