Popular song in 70s that appeared in Taiwan tear-jerker movie. Composer is Liu Jia Chang (刘 家 昌).
This version is sung majestically by the evergreen Tsai Chin.

海鸥 飞 在 蓝 蓝 海上
bú  pà kuángfēng jù làng           (kuang feng = fierce wind ; ju lang =  huge wave )
不 怕 狂风 巨 浪
huī  zhe chìbǎng kān zhe qiánfāng       (hui = wield ; chibang = wing)
挥 着 翅膀 看 着 前方
búhuì míshī fāngxiàng        (mishi =lost  ;  fangxiang = direction )
不会 迷失方向
fēi de yuè gāo kān  de yuè yuǎn 
飞 的 越 高 看 的 越 远
tā zài zhǎoxún lǐxiǎng      (zhaoxun = seeking ; lixiang = ideal )
